Tornado Alert: Grant County, Wisconsin Under Watch for High-Speed Winds

Grant County in Wisconsin is currently under a tornado watch as high-speed winds are creeping in from the southwest corner of the state. Meteorologist Craig Koplien from WTMJ is closely monitoring the situation, along with the National Weather Service (NWS). The threat includes potential tornadoes, hail up to two inches, or winds up to 70 MPH. Residents in the impacted region are advised to stay alert and prepared for severe weather conditions.

NWS estimates suggest that more than 2.3 million people, 1,172 schools, and 85 hospitals are within the affected area, which also includes the northeast corner of Iowa and the northwest corner of Illinois.
